SET YOURSELF UP FOR DAILY HAPPINESS IN 2022!

Between the daily tasks, client meetings, content creation, and management, it can be difficult to stay present and find happiness on a daily basis.

Often we assume our joy and happiness are conditional. That they depend on our response to external circumstances or positive events in our lives.

For example, I’ll be happy when I sell out my program. Or I’ll be happy when I have my dream home. 

To truly find unconditional joy, you need to stop seeking it externally.

You have access to your joy all the time. It’s within you!

So how can we start to access it more in our day-to-day?

Don’t get in your own way. Ask yourself in what ways do you stop yourself from being joyful? This can look like getting hung up on the things we “should” do. We set rules for ourselves that are not serving us. Make a note next time you catch yourself in this behaviour. 

Practice present moment awareness. When we are present, we notice more about the things around us and the people around us. We are more connected in our interactions and give everything our full attention. Notice your body, your breath, and the things around you. What is going right?

Practice gratitude. Keep a gratitude journal! If you don’t like journaling, download the Perfectly Happy app. They have a section to track your gratitudes and it’s amazing! Add them in and look back on past gratitudes.
